Bio

Kathryn A. Munro practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, estate and trust administration, guardianships, conservatorships.

Kathryn received her Bachelor of Science from Montana State University, her Juris Doctorate from the University of Montana School of Law, and a Masters Degree in Taxation Law from the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, Washington. She is a member of both the Arizona and Montana State Bar Associations.

Kathryn’s provides her clients with comprehensive estate plans, from prenuptial agreements through a will or trust, as necessary, and documents for life, such as powers of attorney. Her Masters in Taxation Law emphasized estate planning.

In addition to her estate planning, Kathryn has also worked with school districts throughout the state on contract and taxation issues, and assisted tax-exempt organizations to receive their IRS determination letter for 501(c)(3) status and advised them on maintaining that status.

Kathryn has been a frequent presenter at conferences around the state sponsored by the Arizona School Boards Association on various school issues. She has also presented seminars to other organizations, such as: 403(b) Plan Basics for the Arizona Association of School Business Officials (2009 Winter Conference), Charitable Giving for the Page Chapter of the Arizona Community Foundation, and various estate planning seminars sponsored by Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff Unified School District, and the Williams Chapter of the Arizona Community Foundation.

Kathryn is also a licensed fiduciary in Arizona and a member of Fiduciary Services of Northern Arizona, LLC.

After working for a couple of law firms for about ten years, Kathryn opened Munro Law Office, a solo law practice, in April of 2013. She currently practices Title 14 law: probate, estate planning, trusts, wills, guardianships and conservatorships.
